Intimate summer garden wedding
I traveled to Hannah's grandma's home to capture her and Carsten's intimate backyard garden wedding - it was a perfect intentional day that involved getting ready with friends, tear-filled private vows, Carsten's father officiating, a long dinner table that facilitated conversations and dancing to 2000s hits under the market lights 🤍 a backyard wedding done so so right!!

Private vows
My favorite part of this day was witnessing Hannah + Carsten's vows. They chose to have a private first look and read letters to each other - these letters were filled with such intentional love and gratefulness for their relationship, I teared up right alongside them
The ceremony
Carsten's father officiated, Hannah's father walked her down the aisle, and their closest friends and family watched with such love for the couple on this colorful summer day
Post-ceremony joy
Hannah's reaction right after sealing their marriage made me so happy and reminded me why I do what I do - to document these joyful + meaningful moments so couple's can always hold on to that happiness
The garden party
This reception was fully perfect! If I could recommend any way to celebrate your wedding it's this - a long table to encourage conversation over colorful florals and unique glassware. Not only was this perfectly decorated but the energy in the air was so relaxed and wholesome, everyone enjoyed mingling and celebrating the couple. Then as golden hour faded to black the string lights and throwback music turned on and made for a energetic dance party.
