Monique and Carlos traveled from Chicago to have their intimate wedding with their closest friends + family and were surrounded by so much love and support.

Intentional Wedding Details

The details of this day were gorgeous and tied in so well with the vibe of the venue. The moody historic backdrop worked perfectly for a sun-soaked Florida spring day, and the venue's unique design meant decor could be minimal and highlight the existing character. Not only were their wedding details beautiful, but they meant something too - Monique incorporated her father's memory into her day.

Mayan Chapel Wedding

Monique + Carlos chose to hold their ceremony in the Mayan Chapel and Courtyard at the Art and History Museums Maitland. This ceremony space feels intimate and charming, the historic chapel creates a total vibe that sets the tone for an intentional day.

Receptions at Art & History Museum Maitland

As the sun dipped toward sunset it cast a golden light onto the beautifully set reception space. The banquet tables were adorned with gorgeous arrangements and had the vibe of a European dinner party. The guests enjoyed the evening and celebrated the new couple as the sun went down, then hit the dance floor to party the night away.
